On October 8, 2009, Génome Québec launched competitions designed to support and foster research projects in the area of genomics.
On October 12, 2010, Mr. Clément Gignac, Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade, and Génome Québec President and CEO Mr. Jean-Marc Proulx announced the winning research projects.
