Genome Canada announces the launch of a new competition aimed at funding of genomics technology platforms in Canada.
This funding opportunity has two main objectives:
- Select the technology platforms best able to provide Canadian researchers access to leading edge genomics technologies and methods
- Enable the selected platforms to develop new technologies and/or improve existing technologies that will improve services provided by the platform and will ensure that they remain at the forefront in providing access to leading-edge genomics technologies and methods
The application process will include a mandatory registration followed by a full application.
In order to better prepare the projects for this competition, Génome Québec will proceed with and external evaluation (non-selective) of full applications before their submissions to Genome Canada. All applicants will receive comments on their applications, including gaps and areas for improvement.
