Additionally, the Biobank will serve to catalyze and facilitate the coordination of research on COVID-19 here in Qu\u00e9bec, but also in Canada and around the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis decentralized infrastructure will enable us to pool the research efforts of all institutions in Qu\u00e9bec and facilitate partnerships for research on a national and international scale,\u201d said Serge Marchand, Vice President, Scientific Affairs at G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>Discussions are underway at the federal level to eventually include this Biobank in a pan-Canadian network.
