Currently, screening is primarily based on age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PERSPECTIVE study, led by Dr. Jacques Simard, developed a tool that combines genomic data, such as the polygenic risk score, with other risk factors to assess breast cancer risk. This will make it possible to tailor care according to each woman\u2019s actual risk.
